This Tuesday we head back to Gloucester for Stage Fort Park. (I was wrong last week when I suggested that we were done with the more distant locations for the rest of the season.) The weather doesn't sound so promising, though: They are predicting a 40% chance of showers for the afternoon. We do need the rain, but keep your fingers crossed that it holds off long enough; we also need the climbing!

The weather looks like it's going to be really hot on Tuesday. To make matters more interesting, neither I nor Tom B. (the local betamaster, who talked me in to putting CQ on the schedule in the first place) is going to be able to make it. This was supposed to be something of an adventure, to boldly climb where no climber has gone before and all that, but we all have our limits. So if you guys want to decide to go somewhere else instead, and postpone Chelmsford for another night, that would be perfectly fine. I'll be incommunicado for the next 48 hours, so please let me know how it goes.

So I swapped the next two weeks' venues, and put them on the customary days. As a result, we are going to Stage Fort Park on the usual Tuesday this week, and next week is QQ on Wednesday. Sorry for the confusion.

At least the weather should be decent. The forecast is for sunny and mid-80's, just the sort of day you want to spend climbing near the beach. The only other thing I could ask for is a little sea breeze to keep the bugs away (the wind will actually be from the west), but I'll settle for sunny and dry.
