So I swapped the next two weeks' venues, and put them on the customary days. As a result, we are going to Stage Fort Park on the usual Tuesday this week, and next week is QQ on Wednesday. Sorry for the confusion.
At least the weather should be decent. The forecast is for sunny and mid-80's, just the sort of day you want to spend climbing near the beach. The only other thing I could ask for is a little sea breeze to keep the bugs away (the wind will actually be from the west), but I'll settle for sunny and dry.

Is nobody interested in cool sea breezes today? If you are, please speak up soon, because I'll probably have to get a Zipcar.
I had climbing on my calendar for wednesday of this week from your original schedule, so i'm afraid i've already got some plans for this evening. i'm definitely up for climbing tomorrow though!
It's warm, but there's a sea breeze here on the North Shore. Stage Fort Park will be beautiful tonight. I'll be over there, but if no one shows by 6:15, I'm going to bail and go over to Ravenswood Park for a bike ride with the mosquitoes.
I was planning based on the original schedule, too, so I'd be up for tomorrow. Wes, Quarries sound good or do you have other ideas?
How does everybody feel about tomorrow at SFP? The weather forecast is similar, perhaps breezier. Does that work for you, Margot?
And I promise I'll look at a calendar sooner next year.
Works for me. Perhaps even a little better than tonight!
i'd be up for that!
See you on Wednesday!
Excellent; see you then. (But maybe not until 6:30, depending on timing and traffic.)
How stiff are the SFP ratings compared to, say, the Quarries? I see one 5 and nothing else below a 7 in Boston Rocks, which by Quarry ratings wouldn't be worth the trip for me.
I'm sure the SFP ratings are softer. I can (sometimes) do Full Fathom Five, but I'm not a 5.10 Quarries climber.
Thanks Bob. That makes the decision harder, but I'd still better pass and spend the evening writing instead. The end is nigh...
That's too bad. I guess we won't see much of you until after The End. ;-}
Three of us showed up -- Margot, Wes, and myself -- and we set up three topropes, each of which covered two climbs. But none of us got there very early, so we didn't actually have enough time to climb them all. While climbing, we admired the sunset through dramatically sculpted clouds, which were mostly south of us. Later, on the drive back, the pavement was wet in Danvers and Peabody, with distant lightning flickering in the darkening sky.
