The weather forecast is looking good, if a bit cool, for Route 1 Quarry this Wednesday. I haven't been there in years, but I'd like to see the place again. I just hope I can find Pizza and Beer, the quarry's hidden gem.

Hi:
Two good climbs in the nearer of the two crags. A hard inside corner and a real balance problem just to the left of it. Also, maybe a traverse out right although I think I'm remembering this from Happy Valley.
Also, on the far crag, a face problem on the short wall to the right of P&B.
Can't make it this week but will try for season's end at Waitts Mt. Park.

Thank you, Bill; you've remembered two climbs that I had forgotten about. I also think you're right about the hand traverse being there; it's the first climb you come to while walking along the dirt road.
But if nobody else steps up to say they'll be there, I'll have to pass, too . . .
Guess not, then. Maybe we should remove R1Q from the schedule?
