Sunny today, sunny Monday, but 50% chance of rain on Tuesday. Is anyone else getting tired of this treadmill? Keep your fingers crossed that the start of the rain holds off long enough for us to have some fun at Hammond Pond.

Things that one supposes retain stickiness in the rain: spider webs, tree sap, ???? If it rains, scientific experimentation on bad weather climbing gear?
Hi:
Chances are good that I will be there tomorrow.
Mainly for socializing, as a belay slave, and for beer.
I will confirm later tomorrow.
Bill
looks pretty soggy to me, anyone for BRG?
Well; doesn't look sanguine.
I'm off to France for 2 wks+ on the 16th so I guess it'll be August before I try again.
Cheers,
Bill
It is indeed looking pretty dismal outside my window right now: Wet streets, heavy clouds, and the rumble of thunder in the distance. The Weather Service gives even less cause for hope, as they now predict a 70% chance of rain with a "severe thunderstorm watch" until 7:00. And it's supposed to stay rainy through tomorrow night at least.
So the BRG sounds like our only chance of climbing today. Let's do it, then.
Bill - you will be missed. Bien s'amuser!
Bob - cool, what time do you want to meet?
How about 7:00? [sound of thunder and lashing rain in the background...]
7 sounds great. Yeah, the thunder and lashing rain are a bit scary, but the forecast is that they turn to showers in a little bit - I'm going to leave work about 4:45 and loiter a while at a local cafe before making the drive, so call me on my cell if there's a change of plans.
Of course the sun is full out now; but, I imagine everything still runnibg with water.
Have fun at the gym.
Bill
